In the 50s the “Plankstek” was introduced to Sweden, and it is literally a “Steak on a plank”, where the meat is cooked on a wooden plank in the oven. Since then it has been on the menu @villagodthem and in recent years new varieties have entered the menu.
Created by ”Mi Amigo” Chef Antonio Molina, on the menu this fall at Villa Godthem in Stockholm and one of the best “Plankstek” we’ve ever tried.
